West Essex PTO and First Choice Prep are excited to offer an amazing test prep opportunity designed to support your college prep journey. Join us for a digital SAT/ACT Diagnostic Comparison Test to find out which test may be best for your child – having this information makes test prep more efficient and effective. Students receive a custom report which provides provides baseline scores for both the SAT and ACT as well as areas of strengths and growth.
We’re partnering with the Jersey City Public Library to offer a FREE SAT/ACT Diagnostic test to help students learn which test may be better for them. Each test taker will receive a custom score report which includes baseline scores on the SAT and ACT, recommendation for which test is best, overview of strengths & weaknesses in all content on both tests. This is ideal for Sophomores and Juniors. Students will have to bring a personal computer to take this digital test and unfortunately, we are unable to provide extended time.
If you’re looking for more practice before test day – which we HIGHLY recommend – sign up for one of our upcoming, full-length practice ACTs or SATs. These proctored, weekly tests are a great simulation for real test day, and you receive a full report on how you did so you can adjust your prep. Plus, they are free for our clients!

We lead webinars to share key information with families about the test prep and college admissions process. We host information sessions for specific grade levels and how to best prepare for college admissions. Join us for some of our hot-topic issue webinars – we cover everything from testing requirements at colleges to big trends or changes in test administration.
We offer foundation building coursework in a variety of academic subjects and the ACT and SAT. Our targeted boot camps are hosted virtually or in person for one to two weeks at a time to support our students with test prep or to help them transition to a new grade level. While keeping class sizes small to ensure differentiation and personalized attention, we maximize your child’s growth while minimizing the cost for you!
We also collaborate with local school districts and parent organizations on a variety of events from college nights to professional development.
